On occasion, we get letters here at Uncommon Sense:
Your Web site is necessary and informative given the accolades various news sources pour over the dictators in Cuba. Let me state that I once thought Cuba was in some perverted way a decent country led by some misguided bureaucrats, but the past few months have enlightened me.Here's a country that had the potential to lead the world back in the early '60s, only to imprison its population with terror and mass executions. Batista was a saint compared to the Castro brothers.
What I most definitely want to see though is an end to the restrictions preventing Americans to travel to Cuba. I had the opportunity to visit Romania in the early '70s and our group paved the way for enlightenment by educating the young folks there on America and its citizens. This, i know, will implant ideas that some in Cuba just haven't been privy to.
