A not-so-subtle intimidation campaign by the Cuban secret police against Cuban independent journalists is continuing.
What is it about these men and women that scares the hell out of the dictatorship? Hmmmmm, let's see they have the skills and the drive to challenge the official line and the courage to stand up, on behalf of their fellow Cubans, to those in power.
They are truly dangerous to the Castro regime.
Which may be why independent journalist Lisbán Hernández Sánchez was recently visited by a police officer who warned her she could convicted of being a "pre-criminal social danger," and sentenced to up to 4 years in prison.
In other news, Cuba today was re-elected to a spot on the United Nations Human Rights Council
