Thursday, Dec. 10 is International Human Rights Day, commemorating the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Thursday is a day to remember and honor this document, and more importantly, those in Cuba and around the world imprisoned and suffering for demanding that their governments abide by its precepts.
On Thursday, remember this: As long as there men and women in jail or otherwise repressed because of their work on the behalf of freedom, on behalf of the human rights detailed in the declaration, we are all less free.
Which is why it is vital that we all do at least a little on the behalf of liberty.
Because if we each do a little, together we will change the world.
