Two Cuban women activists, Ivonne Mallesa Galano and Rosario Morales la Rosa, were arrested Friday when they went to a market, took out some pots and pans and started a protest to demand "food for the people."
As significant as their demonstration was, the bigger story is how bystanders took the women's side when police arrived on the scene.
The revolution in the making in Cuba will likely explode when sparked by an incident like this. What Cuba needs is more courage like that exhibited by these women in order to make that happen.
