The CIHPRESS news agency and human rights group reports that there were 340 politically motivated arrests in Cuba in April.
That's the lowest monthly total this year and less than half of the 760 reported in March.
But it's still 340 too many.
For the year, CIHPRESS has recorded 1,915 arrests through April 30 -- already more than the 1,499 recorded in all of 2010 and just about half of the 3,835 arrests counted in all of 2011.
