Dog DNA may teach new tricks

These are my dogs Yellowstone and Blue. They are friendly, loyal and always eager to please. So it seems only natural that their kind, through the study of their DNA might one day help cure some of the ills of mankind.

(As an aside, I would love to see a study of Blue's genetic heritage. To call her a "Heinz 57" seems to tell only part of her story.)
