The Cuban-born music great Arturo Sandoval will be playing tonight at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival in Michigan. In advance of the show, Sandoval granted an interview with Bruce Walker of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in which, according to the group's Web site, he "discusses his experience with artistic censorship, his views on Cuba’s health care system and his thoughts on what American citizenship means to someone who has experienced government oppression firsthand."
It is a wonderful listen.
