The history of communist Cuba is actually pretty simple and straightforward:
A gangster-thug named Fidel Castro and his followers take over the country, and implement policies and practices that lead to abject poverty and the oppression and repression of That was the pattern set 50 years ago, and, with the same thugs in charge, it continues today.
A new Web site, however, offers an alternative history of communist Cuba, ignoring the bad news like property confiscations, imprisonments and massacres, and instead celebrates the more glorious moments of the revolution, like the May 29, 1980, dedication of the Karl Marx Cement Factory in Guaibaro, Cienfuegos, presided over by no less than Fidel Castro.
Not surprisingly, the dictatorship is responsible for this drivel.
