Cuban political activist Nelson Curbelo Rodríguez was sentenced to 2 years in prison after a Castroite "court" found him guilty of "attacking" and "disrespecting" four state agents, according to a report posted at Payo Libre.
Curbelo, 48, had been arrested in March after a confrontation with two of the offended agents. Other activists said they believe Curbelo, who had previously been imprisoned for "disrespecting Fidel Castro," was targeted by police because of his human rights work.
