Cuban opposition activist Arnaldo Expósito Zaldívar must have a big target on his back that reads, "Freedom fighter."
How else to explain his being stopped and detained by police a total of three times over a period of two days, Oct. 12-13?
It turns out that Expósito, presdent of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Cuban Committee, got snagged in the police dragnet around the home of activist leader Vladimiro Roca Antúnez, who has been hosting a gathering of independent journalists and other dissidents. Numerous people have been detained while trying to make their way to Roca's residence in Havana.
