Cuban political prisoner released from gulag

Amid the sadness of this week, there was one bit of good news from Cuba:

Political activist Yoandri Gutiérrez Vargas was released from prison after serving two years on a conviction for "disrespecting Fidel Castro" — as if the decaying dictator is deserving of respect — during a protests against so-called "elections."

Now 29, Gutiérrez was released from the Mangas de Granma prison on Feb. 1.
