Four Cuban dissidents were arrested Wednesday after they burned a copy of the Cuban constitution — which is not even worth the paper it's printed on — to demonstrate their opposition to the Castro dictatorship.
The demonstration took place out in the open in the town of Sierra de Gibara, in Holguín province, as part of a "The Right to My Rights" campaign.
The four dissidents, currently being held in jails in Guantanamo, are:
Rolando Rodríguez Lobaina
Yoandry Montoya Avilés
Jorge Corrales Ceballos
Rodríguez, who has been arrested and detained numerous times, is head of the Cuban Youth Movement for Democracy in eastern Cuba.
Poveda had been released from jail a day earlier. He had spent most of March in prison.
