It's time for Castro regime to end Fariñas hunger strike

The Castro dictatorship on Monday cut a deal for political prisoner Dr. Darsi Ferrer to end his hunger strike.

So it's now more than time for the regime to similarly bring an end to a hunger strike Guillermo Fariñas by meeting his demand — the release of 26 seriously ill political prisoners.

And for the international community to again support Fariñas, on hunger strike since Feb. 24, in his personal struggle against tyranny by imploring the regime — as futile as it might seem — to give the man what he wants.

Before it is too late to save his life.
