Six Cuban dissidents on Tuesday climbed the steps of the old Capitol building in Havana and unfurled banners proclaiming, "Boitel lives!" and "Zapata lives," and shouted anti-Castro slogans for about 11 minutes, in the presence mostly of foreign tourists, according to Radio Martí and other outlets.
(The banner referred to political prisoners Pedro Luis Boitel and Orlando Zapata Tamayo, who died in prison after lengthy hunger strikes.)
The protest was over before the police took notice, but one of the participants said the secret police showed up at his house later that night.
