Two former political prisoners — the independent journalist Mijail Bárzaga Lugo and the democracy activist Luis Milán Fernández — today took exile in Madrid, joining nine other dissidents released from the Castro gulag this week.
Like the others, Bárzaga and Milán had been imprisoned since the "black spring" crackdown in 2003.
Committee to Protect Journalists interviewed Bárzaga after his arrival in the Spanish capital.
