UPDATED, Aug. 15, 2010 — The goons were back on Sunday morning, surrounding Reina Luisa Tamayo's house and preventing her and her supporters from attending Mass, according to Radio Martí.
In a disappointing — but not surprising — development, the archbishop Holguín visited Tamayo and proposed that she go to Mass but with only her family and not with members of the Damas De Apoyo (Ladies In Support). Cuban police late last week arrested at least three members of the group to block them from going to Banes.
Tamayo rejected the offer.
And once again, Tamayo offered her assessment of the Castro brothers.
"The Castro brothers are murderers!" she told Radio Martí.
Listen to Tamayo, in her own words, here.

As always, a situation in the town of Banes, in eastern Cuba provides the world a chance to take sides in the continuing struggle for freedom on the island.
Do you side with Reina Luisa Tamayo, the mother of the murdered political prisoner Orlando Zapata Tamayo?
Or do you side with the Castroite goons — the police and their civilian flunkies — who for several Sundays now, have blocked Tamayo and her supporters from going to Mass and visiting her son's grave site?
It's a simple choice, and as this video shows, it should be an easy one.
I stand with Señora Tamayo, and so should you.
For how she has made sure her son's legacy is remembered and honored.
And for her courage in standing up to a regime so terrified of that legacy — and of her — that even though all she wants to do is to go to church and visit her son's grave, it unleashes its dogs on her every chance it gets.
As you go about your day on Sunday, at church or anywhere else you might be, please remember Reina Luisa Tamayo. Stay alert, and if the dictatorship's assault on her is renewed, tell her story so that she, and the dogs, know she does not stand alone.
