Two more Cuban political prisoners and their families were expected to arrive in Spain this week after their release and expulsion from the island.
They are independent librarian Leonel Grave de Peralta Almenares today, and Alexis Rodríguez Fernández, a member of the Christian Liberation Movement, on Thursday, according to Europa Press.
Like the others who have recently taken exile in either Spain or Chile, Grave de Peralta and Rodríguez are members of the Group of 75 dissidents imprisoned since the "black spring" crackdown of 2003.
Once they arrive there will remain 20 members of the Group of 75 still imprisoned. For what it's worth, Raúl Castro last week reportedly told visiting officials with Spain's ruling socialist party that all the prisoners covered by the deal would be released.
