Catholic Church says 11 political prisoners will be released from jail and expelled to Spain

The announcement that José Daniel Ferrer García and Félix Navarro Rodríguez, the last of the Group of 75 prisoners, would be released was accompanied by a list of 11 other prisoners that will be freed and, according to the Catholic Church, take exile in Spain.

At least one of the 11, Néstor Rodríguez Lobaina, has not decided whether he will accept exile. He had been in imprisoned since December and was set to stand "trial" today — proceedings that were suspended before the church announcment.
