As part of an ongoing crackdown on the Damas De Blanco in eastern Cuba, the Castro political police are resorting to squeezing the group's supporters.
For example, police in Palma Soriano this week assaulted former political prisoner Raumel Vinajera after they caught him distributing pamphlets denouncing the recent moves against the Damas, according to a report from Radio Martí.
It is worth noting that the assault was witnessed and reported to opposition activists from residents who support the Damas.
