'People-to-people' trips have little to do with real people -- and the repression they suffer -- in Cuba

Here is something I bet you don't see on one of those new "people-to-people" -- but don't call it a "vacation" -- trips to Cuba: Castroite thugs launching "an act of repudiation" against the regime's peaceful opponents.

It happens every day but there is no way it will ever be part of itinerary, so as not to paint a too-real portrait of what life in Cuba is really like and put the dictatorship-subsidizing nature of the trips at risk.
