CUBAN POLITICAL PRISONER WILMAN VILLAR MENDOZA DIES

Cuban political prisoner Wilman Villar Mendoza, on hunger strike since late November to demand his release from jail, has died, according to Diario de Cuba.

His wife Maritza Pelegrino Cabrales confirmed the news to Diario De Cuba. She said Villar died of "multi-organ failure" brought by a massive infection.

One report on Facebook said Villar he died about 6:45 p.m.

Like Orlando Zapata and Juan Soto, his blood is on the hands of the Castro dictatorship.

And like those martyrs, he will never be forgotten.
